Extremely well connected and always ready to go the extra mile to improve their clients’ stay, concierges are a vital part of the luxury hotel experience.
Each concierge desk is dedicated to making recommendations to both the hotel’s regular and first-time guests. These guests – especially key Chinese and Middle Eastern visitors – look to their concierges for insider tips on the best dining, shopping, theatre and more.

“I’d like to express what a vital tool Where London magazine is on our concierge desk at The Ritz hotel. My team and I have always found it to be very informative and it is a valuable addition to the service that we offer our guests.”
Michael De Cozar, Head Concierge, The Ritz London
“We place IN London in all 382 rooms in our hotel and we receive many positive comments about the magazine. We often find that guests have taken the magazine home with them once they’ve checked out and we are always requesting further copies.”

THE CONCIERGE AWARDS
The Society of the Golden Keys – recognisable to hotel guests all over the world by the lapel pins worn by top concierges –
was formed in Great Britain in 1952. The founding principles
of the Society of the Golden Keys remain to this day and are encapsulated as 'Service Through Friendship.' Today, the
Society of the Golden Keys in Great Britain is thriving, with approximately 330 concierges proudly wearing the symbol
of their status on their lapel.
As part of MVP's partnership with Les Clefs D'Or – the international society for concierges – the company is responsible for the popular annual Concierge Awards, held at one of London's finest hotels. Six award categories recognise concierges who excel at their job, with winners chosen by judges who work in key ares of the industry. Categories include Regional Concierge of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Service Through Friendship Award, Associate Member Award, the Andre Damonte Award and the much-coveted Concierge of the Year Award.
At Your Service is a vibrant quarterly newsletter circulated around the concierge communities of London's finest hotels. Created in-house at MVP, each issue reports on events organised by MVP for concierges from across the city, including everything from exclusive catwalk shows in Bond Street boutiques to after-dark flights on the Emirates Air Line.
The newsletter also serves as an essential everyday tool for concierges, detailing all the hottest restaurant openings, West End shows, product launches and cultural events taking place across the city – vital information that concierges can then pass on to the guests they serve. Content is specially tailored to suit every kind of visitor, from families through to seasoned solo travellers, providing local insight into the best activities on offer in London.
Distributed in print across hotels, the newsletter is also available to browse online. Click here to read the latest edition.
